That’s why we’ve improved our workshops to include extra in-person and virtual support sessions. Take a look at our 5 week hybrid course itinerary: Week 1 (20/04): We kick things off with an in-person (and dog) Preparing and Priming Session down in the Woodway room. We’ll go over the training theory, positive reinforcement rewards, avoiding pitfalls, conditioning training (priming) and other tips and tricks to give you the best start to your training. Week 2 : Personal Support Session. This gives us a chance to catch up and see how your weeks’ worth of training has gone. It gives you 1:1 access to a dog training professional and allows you receive solutions any problems you might be experiencing. Week 3 (04/05): Main Training Session with Guided Walk down in the Woodway room. Includes: Training theory recap, main loose-lead training, guiding walk in the wilds of Chudleigh Town Centre and a Q & A section at the end. Week 4: Post Main Training Personal Support Session. This gives us a chance to catch up and see how your weeks’ worth of main loose-lead training has gone. It gives you 1:1 access to a dog training professional and allows you receive solutions any problems you may be experiencing. Week 5: Additional Personal Support Session. This gives us one last chance to catch up and see how your overall training has gone. In-person Workshop Dates; Preparing & Priming Workshop: 20/04 (Sat) at 16:30-18:30, Chudleigh Town Hall. Main Training & Guided Walk Session: 04/05 (Sat) at 16:30-18:30, Chudleigh Town Hall. Virtual Sessions will be chosen and booked in during the in-person sessions. *One per person, expires: 15/04/2024.
